Previous to illustration, I worked as an Art Director for interactive arms of ad agencies. ¶ This is Siteway, my online home. I started Siteway sixteen years ago in my dorm room. I had the idea for the longest time that I’d open a design studio. As it happens, instead of design, my career specialized into mostly black & white line-based illustration. Siteway has long been home to self-directed portraits. There’s a definite hero theme that has emerged. Since 2006 I’ve devoted all my professional time to the development of my drawing ability by drawing every day. I’m grateful to be on this train. Today, Siteway acts as my gateway. I never stopped buying domain names and I run quite a few different art sites across them. See below. ¶ I have started a personal blog that highlights some behind the scenes of my illustration business. It’s called Beaconspire.
